Heat Loss Analysis

Infrared inspection (or thermography) is a non-destructive and cost-effective heat-sensing technique that helps to identify abnormally warm or cool areas that indicate moisture intrusion, insulation deficiencies, and other energy losses. Drone technology enables to carry of state-of-the-art thermal cameras to assess any area in need of inspection with real-time images and videos. Samtech, being the leader of HLA services in China, helps our clients to acquire an accurate understanding of the building’s structural integrity to make informed decisions.

HLA Helps Find

Small Heat Leaks

Air Infiltration Points

Insulation Deficiencies

Benefits

  • Inspect roofs or other tall constructions that are not easily accessible otherwise.

  • Low operating costs result from a view of a wide area in a minimum time and cost.

  • Ideal way to identify defects that reduce the efficacy of insulation, such as thermal bridges.

  • Identifies heat losses, water leakages, subsurface structural deficiencies, and delamination in concrete bridge structures.

  • Inspects roofs to catch minor penetrations before they have a chance to escalate into costly repairs.

  • Reveals leaks in systems like steam and condensate return lines, hot water lines, chilled water lines, supply water mains, distribution pipes, storm water drains, building heat losses, and moisture leaks into the roofs.

  • Detects underground (direct-bury) or in steam tunnels (vaults) for leakages and defects.

  • Liquid amalgamation with water can also be detected to ensure the waterways are not polluted.

  • Defected solar panels in a solar park can also be detected using heat loss analysis techniques.
